Istanbul under the snow

The first snows in Istanbul are amazing, because they appear suddenly. One day during the winter you wake up and everything is white. The temperature comes down very quickly. I was not ready for that, I didn't bring any snow equipment. It was absolutely wonderful to walk everywhere and discover a completely different landscape. The negative facts are that transportation is totally blocked during the five first days and I didn't have electricity for four days... In those kind of moments you realize how important electricity is: no heatter, no hot water, no light, no Wi-Fi and no more battery for your mobile!
