One day in Istanbul
10 a.m.: All the Turkish are out to take their breakfast on the famous neighbourhood of Bebek in front of the Bosphorus let's join them!
The kahvalti is the tradition breakfast composed of cucumber, tomatoes, and bureck, eggs cooked as menemen, toast, cheese and tea.
1 a.m.: Let's take the boat to go to the Prince's Islands!
Istanbul has an archipelago of nine islands in the Marmara Sea called the Prince's Islands. We decided to visit one of them: Büyükada. The journey is only about one hour. The view from the boat is wonderful - you can see Agia Sofia and the Blue Mosque on the cost.
2 p.m.: the time to have lunch.
We ordered durum made with meat and tomato and pilav a skewer with aubergine and meat. On top of this: my favourite Turkish desert is baklava and...
3 p.m.: visit the island
On the island there are no cars. The two only ways of transportation are bikes and horses. So we rented bikes and pedalled around the island. It was a perfect break in fresh air.
6 p.m.: it's the time to go back to Istanbul
During the journey back we enjoyed a wonderful sunset, the moon was especially huge.
